Custom Order Deposit (Items under $150)

This listing is for a deposit on a custom order that has already been discussed and approved by the client. If we have not spoken about a custom order yet, please reach out to me at melody@songbirdsilver.com before purchasing. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable. 

Timeframe & Payment:

Custom orders generally take between 3-6 weeks to complete, depending on the complexity of the design and material availability. Once your order is ready, I will send you the final link for your custom piece, with the deposit deducted from the final price. The remaining balance will need to be paid in full before I ship the piece.

If you'd prefer a payment plan, you can select ShopPay installments at checkout. And here's the best part – I’ll still ship your custom piece right away, even as you pay it off in installments! It’s a win-win: you get the flexibility of payments, and you don’t have to wait to enjoy your new creation.

Express shipping options are available upon request for an additional cost, and rush orders will incur a $250 fee.

Communication & Approval Process:

During the creation process, I will send updates to ensure that the design and materials meet your expectations. For example, I will send you progress photos after the initial design is done and after the stones are chosen, for your approval before proceeding to the next steps.

Custom Order Cancellations:

Please note that the deposit is non-refundable. If you wish to cancel your custom order, you may do so, but depending on how far along I am in the creation process, additional cancellation fees may apply. No refund will be given for the deposit itself as it secures materials and my design time.

**Revisions:**  

Each custom order includes up to 2 free design revisions. Any additional changes beyond this will incur a fee of $50 per revision. Once the design is finalized and approved, any further alterations to the completed piece will also incur an extra fee.

Non-Payment & Final Payment Deadline:

Once your piece is completed, the remaining balance will be due. If I do not receive final payment within 30 days, I will reach out once as a courtesy reminder. If payment is not made within 7 days of the reminder, I will list the piece for sale to the public at full price. Please note that any previous payments towards the balance will be non-refundable.

Risk of Customer-Supplied Materials:

For any custom orders involving materials or stones provided by you, please understand that there is always a small risk that the stone may be lost or damaged during the setting process. By proceeding with the order, you acknowledge and accept this risk.

Warranty & Care:

I take great care to ensure the quality of my custom pieces. While I don't offer a formal warranty, I am always happy to offer advice on caring for your jewelry and performing small repairs if needed. Please reach out if you ever have any concerns after your purchase.
